Certified Winning Communities™ Program
Winning Communities has also established its Certified Winning Community program, a program
now endorsed by the Community Bankers' Association of Illinois (CBAI),
the Association of Indiana Counties (AIC), and the Indiana
Bankers Association (IBA). The Certified Winning Communities program is open to any county, city or town that seeks to create a vision and action plan for its future success. This three-year certification process is awarded to a community that has completed a series of action steps toward achieving its identified goals and objectives, as outlined in the Winning Communities vision and action planning process. Each community that designates Winning Communities as its community-planning partner has the opportunity to be eligible for this unique designation as a Certified Winning Community.
The CBAI, AIC
and IBA have all shown tremendous support of the Winning Communities certification program. The program fits in well with the
organizations' missions, in getting bankers, economic leaders
and other citizens involved in improving the community, developing a consensus, defining goals and achieving success.
